OUR HOPPY STORY
Not long ago, my wife, Jen and I started brainstorming ideas for a home business that we could truly enjoy. Sitting at one of our favorite North County San Diego brew pubs with our dog, Cabo we had an idea. What if we took two of the things we liked the most -- beer and dogs -- and made a business out of that?

We Googled the ingredients for all-natural dog biscuits and found that they basically had only four ingredients: grain, flour, eggs and a flavor agent such as peanut butter. We struck up a conversation with the brewery owner and asked what he did with his spent grain from making the beer to which he said, "I leave it out for some local farmers for feed and fertilizer." So we asked if he would be able to simply leave a few sanitized buckets out for us that we could use as the grain for our doggie treats and he said he would.
